Job Description Duration: 12 Months Job Description - Under the guidance of the Food Service Manager, the Food Service Worker plays a vital role in preparing and serving meals to students in our residential dining hall. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming food service environment, as well as assisting with food prep and packing meals for dorms and special events. Roles & Responsibilities • Prepare the dining area for service by filling ice machines, maintaining water levels in steam tables, organizing hot/cold food displays, and setting out milk, juice, and fruit., • Support cooks with daily food preparation by fetching ingredients, lifting supplies, and completing other routine kitchen tasks. Pack food for dorm meals and special events., • Ensure top-notch cleanliness across all serving, dining, and kitchen areas. Thoroughly clean refrigerators, food carts, milk coolers, dishwashers, beverage dispensers, floors, tables, and doors. Collect and dispose of all garbage daily., • Replenish napkins, utensils, and other dining containers before the next meal service. Assist storekeeping with receiving, organizing, and properly rotating incoming food deliveries., • Provide support for special campus events throughout the year (requires occasional overtime).\nCompany Description 22nd Century Technologies, Inc.
