Role: We are seeking a Traveling Journeyman Electrician / Foreman to support our Site Superintendent in the execution of commercial electrical construction projects nationwide. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring “tools-in-hand” productivity while assisting in the coordination of daily field operations. The position supports crew direction, installation sequencing, and jobsite execution while ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with NEC requirements and project specifications. This role will occasionally lead small crews and assist the Superintendent in maintaining production flow, schedule awareness, and jobsite discipline. The ideal candidate is a high-performing Journeyman who leads by example, takes ownership of assigned scopes, and thrives in schedule-driven commercial environments. Responsibilities Field Installation & Production • Execute commercial electrical installations in strict accordance with project drawings, specifications, and NEC requirements, • Perform layout, installation, and termination of conduit systems (EMT, rigid, PVC), feeders, panels, switchgear, transformers, lighting systems, and related commercial systems, • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of ground-up commercial construction sequencing and adapt installations to evolving site conditions, • Read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, panel schedules, and specifications independently, • Support the Superintendent in coordinating daily field operations and manpower allocation, • Lead small crews when required, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and correctly the first time, • Provide technical guidance to apprentices and other electricians while maintaining strong jobsite accountability, • Uphold and enforce company safety standards on every task, • Participate in daily safety meetings and job hazard planning, • Communicate production progress and field challenges clearly to the Superintendent, • Take ownership of assigned scopes from start to completion, • Minimum 6+ years of commercial electrical construction experience, including ground-up commercial projects, • Valid and current State Journeyman Electrical License required for this position (must be active and in good standing), • Applicants from states that do not issue a formal Journeyman license must provide documented proof of equivalent certification, apprenticeship completion, or state-recognized credential demonstrating Journeyman-level qualification for further review, • Candidates without a state-issued or equivalent credential may be considered for other field positions but will not qualify for this Traveling Journeyman / Working Foreman role, • Demonstrated experience in conduit installation, feeder installations, panel terminations, and commercial power distribution systems, • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, and specifications independently, • Proven ability to maintain productivity in schedule-driven commercial construction environments, • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving standards, • Ability to pass background screening and pre-employment drug testing, • Must attend in-person orientation and training during the first week at the Fort Worth, TX office, • This is a nationwide traveling position requiring up to 85% travel throughout the year, • Candidates must be able to commit to extended out-of-town assignments aligned with project schedules, which may span multiple weeks or months; opportunities to return home may be available based on project schedule and coordination with field leadership, • Flexibility to adjust to varying work hours, site conditions, and schedule shifts is required, • Company-provided per diem and travel support package are available; details will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview process Compensation and Benefits • PTO, • 401(k) match, • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance, • 10 Paid Holidays, • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, • HSA and FSA, • Disability & Occupational Accident Insurance, • Company - Paid Life Insurance policy, • Employee Assistance Program (EAP), • World-class paid training program for you to learn the skills for long term career success
