Job Description Step into a day that keeps a modern cultivation facility humming You’ll start your morning by walking the grow and production spaces, checking gauges, listening for unusual sounds, and noting anything that needs attention. After a quick sync with the Facilities Manager, you’ll prioritize repairs, restock PPE across the building, and jump into scheduled maintenance—whether that’s swapping a grow light ballast, flushing a drain line, or tuning a fan motor. When a larger repair pops up, you’ll coordinate with licensed contractors and learn from them so we need fewer call-outs next time. By afternoon, you’ll log completed work, close out checklists, and ensure teammates have clean, sorted uniforms for the next shift. Before you go, the hallways sparkle, the equipment is humming, and tomorrow’s maintenance plan is set. What you’ll tackle • Keep the facility spotless: restrooms, corridors, break areas, interior and exterior spaces—daily sanitation is part of the craft., • Replenish PPE, trash liners, and restroom supplies building-wide each day., • Handle light repairs independently (grow lights, fans, HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical, and more)., • Support major repairs under the Facilities Manager; coordinate outside vendors for emergency and planned work., • Operate tools, vehicles, parts, and materials safely and efficiently., • Install and maintain new equipment (racks, dehumidifiers, etc.)., • Troubleshoot issues across electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment systems., • Execute the preventive maintenance schedule on time and with quality., • Book third-party service when needed—and absorb their know‑how to build internal capability., • Pitch in where needed: shovel snow, assist other departments, and other duties as assigned., • Operate the on-site laundry to wash and sort team uniforms so everyone starts clean each day. Administration and compliance, • Maintain precise logs for repairs, equipment cleaning, maintenance, and calibrations., • Escalate system failures, malfunctions, or damage immediately to the Facilities Manager., • Complete daily/weekly/monthly equipment checks and maintenance checklists., • Follow facility SOPs, safety, and biosafety programs; keep the production floor safe and clean. What you bring, • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s preferred., • 2+ years of building/mechanical maintenance experience preferred., • Hands-on knowledge across trades: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, tile, and general repairs., • Background in cannabis or another highly regulated industry preferred., • Track record of flexibility and tackling extra projects., • Core skills: basic math; industrial cleaning equipment know‑how; excellent time management; integrity and discretion; detail focus; clear, calm communication; teamwork; computer literacy; mechanical aptitude., • Proficiency expected in HVAC/R Systems, HVAC Maintenance, and HVAC Repair. Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm ET. Subject to change as business needs.
