Job Description Position Overview: The Behavioral Health Clinician is responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health services to individuals, families, and groups. This role involves assessing client needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care. The clinician will work in diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, schools, or community-based organizations, to support the mental and emotional well-being of clients. Key Responsibilities: • Client Assessment and Diagnosis:, • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to identify mental health needs and formulate accurate diagnoses based on DSM-5 criteria., • Treatment Planning and Implementation:, • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to client goals and needs., • Provide evidence-based interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy., • Crisis Intervention:, • Respond to mental health crises by providing de-escalation, stabilization, and appropriate follow-up care., • Collaboration and Consultation:, • Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, social workers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care., • Serve as a resource for clients, families, and community members regarding mental health topics., • Documentation and Compliance:, • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies and state regulations., • Ensure compliance with all applicable ethical, legal, and regulatory standards., • Community Engagement:, • Participate in outreach and education efforts to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma., • Advocate for clients within the healthcare system and broader community resources. Qualifications: Master’s Degree and demonstrated practical experience in the area(s) of expertise required by the technical specifications, as well as demonstrated capability in program / project coordination applications. The contractor will be involved with complex programs involving multiple tasks. Licensed or eligible to receive a license.A Masters’s Degree with other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum qualifications may be substituted. Must be a licensed clinical provider, preferably LCSW, but will consider other licensures when necessary. • Education:, • Masterr’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program., • Licensure:, • Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent (state-specific requirements apply). Provisional licensure may be considered based on experience., • Experience:, • Clinical experience in mental health settings, including experience with diverse populations and presenting issues., • Skills and Competencies:, • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR)., • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills., • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners., • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred. Work Environment: • Primarily office-based, with potential for remote telehealth services., • May require occasional travel for home visits, community events, or professional development opportunities.
