Job DescriptionContract eDiscovery Paralegal Pay: $35-$50/hr. Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid after 90 days) LHH is working with a well-established, multi-specialty law practice that is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team. Strong eDiscovery experience and strong high-volume cases in discovery. Key Responsibilities • Assist with preparing arguments and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, stipulations, discovery requests and responses, complaints, and demand letters, • Communicate with clients, potential clients, opposing counsel, witnesses, court reporters, court officials, and service providers, • Identify, locate, and interview relevant witnesses and experts, • Investigate cases by requesting and reviewing documents, analyzing legal issues, and performing fact-checking, • Conduct legal research and locate cases, opinions, reports, and related materials, • Coordinate with ESI vendors on document collection, review, and production, • Review, organize, and assist with the production of documents using electronic review platforms, • Summarize legal documents, medical records, employment files, and related materials, • Organize and maintain case files and document databases, • Assist with trial, pretrial, and motion preparationQualifications, • Minimum of 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, • MUST HAVE strong high volume cases in discovery and eDiscovery experience, • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, • Detail-oriented with exceptional proofreading skills, • Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work closely with multiple attorneys and staff, • Strong work ethic and commitment to teamworkBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
