Job Description Job Title: Ironworker Location: Houston, Texas, United States Salary: $25-$28 per hour Responsibilities: • Perform a variety of ironworking tasks including but not limited to erecting structural steel, installing precast concrete panels, and assembling metal buildings., • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures., • Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fabricate metal components., • Operate machinery such as cranes and hoists to position and lift steel components into place., • Install rigging systems and hoisting equipment to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations., • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment., • Proven experience as an Ironworker., • Proficiency in metal building erection and rigging operations., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications., • Strong knowledge of steel construction methods and materials., • Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions., • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team., • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail., • Competitive hourly wage ranging from $25 to $28 per hour., • Standard 40-hour workweek., • Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and retirement plans., • Positive and supportive work environment.
