Job Description Position Summary The Assistant Director of Annual Giving plays a key role in supporting Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) Annual Giving. This position supports the Annual Fund, oversees the College's matching gift program, and contributes to data integrity and project management within Advancement. The Assistant Director reports to the Senior Director of Annual Giving and is a member of the Russell Sage College (RSC) Advancement team. Primary Responsibilities Annual Fund Marketing, Appeals & Campaign Execution • Support the planning, development, and execution of all Annual Fund mailings, including direct mail solicitations, segmented appeals, stewardship postcards, and year-end campaigns., • Assist in developing and deploying digital fundraising campaigns, including email solicitations, Giving Tuesday outreach and messaging, and multi-channel stewardship communications., • Coordinate production timelines, proofing, printing, and mailing logistics with internal and external partners., • Work closely with Advancement Resources to ensure donor segmentation, data pulls, and mailing lists are accurate and timely., • Help develop appeal messaging, themes, and segmentation strategies to increase alumni participation., • Increase employer matching gift participation by developing targeted marketing materials - print, email, web, and social media. Expectations & Requirements • Bachelor's degree required., • 3-5 years of experience in Annual Fund operations, volunteer management, or related advancement work (higher education preferred). This position qualifies for a Flexible Work Arrangement as defined by the Russell Sage College Remote and Flexible Work Policy. Work may be performed partially on-site and partially through approved telework at an off-campus location. Remote hours must be approved by the supervisor.
