About the Role Triangle is looking for a Laser Machine Operator to support die-making production by setting up and operating laser equipment with accuracy and efficiency. If you're mechanically inclined, detail-focused, and enjoy running equipment that requires precision, you'll fit right in. What You'll Do * Set up and operate laser cutting equipment per job tickets, CAD layouts, and production specs * Perform make-readies and ensure correct material/board setup, alignment, and program selection * Monitor machine performance during runs to ensure quality and accuracy * Complete in-process checks, make adjustments as needed, and verify parts meet specifications * Maintain production records, counts, and downtime notes in the system * Troubleshoot basic machine issues and escalate more complex concerns to maintenance/leadership * Perform routine preventative maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, basic part replacement) * Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all PPE/safety requirements * Support cross-training and assist other departments/equipment during peak workloads Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent required * Prior machine operation experience preferred (laser experience is a plus, but not required with strong aptitude) * Ability to read job tickets, CAD images, and basic blueprints * Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills * Basic math skills (measurements, counts, waste tracking) * Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven manufacturing environment * Strong attention to detail and quality mindset Work Environment / Physical Requirements * Manufacturing floor environment with varying noise levels; PPE required * Standing/walking/bending; repetitive movements * Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs * Ability to work safely around sharp tools and moving equipment
