Job Description Production Technician - Bicycle & Ski/Snow Position Profile Updated: 11/1/22 Reports To: Assembly Department Management FLSA Status: Full-Time Non-Exempt Summary The Production Technician is responsible for the timely and accurate assembly, quality control, and packaging of bicycles to Erik's quality standards for both distribution to Erik's Bike Shop, Inc retail locations and direct shipment to customers. The seasonal maintenance and order preparation of both Erik's lease program and customer skis and snowboards are also required. Position Details The primary responsibilities and areas of impact of this position include, but are not limited to: Department Performance • Complete the efficient assembly of bicycles accurately, and on-time, to Erik's approved standards., • Complete quality control checks and enforce quality standards for other staff member's assembled bicycles and sporting goods equipment., • Complete the building, boxing, and shipping steps required for "Ship to customer" bicycle and equipment orders., • Complete bicycle and equipment warranty work, and special projects as directed., • Complete ski and snowboard lease program preparation and customer repair services as directed., • Provide feedback to the Assembly Department Management and Leads related to efficient production workflow and technique.
