Job Description Summary About Us: Wholesome Generation is a mission-driven nonprofit that provides inclusive, wellness-based, nature-connected education and community programs for youth and families. We’re passionate about nurturing whole-child development through real food, environmental stewardship, movement, and mindfulness practices. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, very outgoing and people-friendlyAdministrative Assistantto help support our Founder, and vibrant campus and daily office flow. Key Responsibilities: • Provide general administrative support to our Founder/Executive Director, • Greet and assist students, visitors, families, and community partners, • Manage phone, email, and day-to-day communication tasks (high computer use), • Maintain and organize office supplies, records, and files; also donations, and keep our office and front spaces clean and organized, • Support scheduling, event logistics, and calendar coordination, • Assist with data entry, and internal systems such as tecpeds, etc, • Help ensure the office and classrooms on campus run smoothly and stays aligned with our values. Duties Office Administrative Support • Answer phones, respond to emails, and greet visitors warmly, • Support scheduling for ED meetings, tours, and staff events, • Perform data entry and maintain accurate digital and physical records, • Assist with any and all office tasks, • Organize and maintain office filing systems (both physical and digital), • Ensure the front office and common areas are kept clean, tidy, and organized, • Handle light cleaning tasks (wiping surfaces, tidying desks, managing recycling/paperwork flow), • Prepare spaces for meetings, workshops, and on-campus events, • Help our Founder Lene with administrative tasks and upcoming deadlines, • Support the coordination of special projects or seasonal initiatives, • Run occasional errands or make supply pickups (if available and needed), • Pitch in with other campus needs as they arise — we’re a small, supportive team and work as close sisterhood! Requirements What We’re Looking For: • VERY Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, • Friendly and clear communication (written and verbal), • Excited to be on campus, loving towards all our students and families, wonderful to be around (charismatic, friendly, yes-attitude and personality), • Tech-savvy with comfort using Google Workspace and all basic office tools, • Supporting with social-media as needed, • Excited to take photos in classrooms for documentation, • Prior admin experience preferred (bonus if in nonprofit or education settings), • A proactive mindset and willingness to pitch in wherever needed, • Alignment with Wholesome Generation’s mission and values, • Open communication style, absolutely ready to jump into a no-conflict but high traffic environment and supporting our calm spaces. This position initially starts as a part-time, 4 hrs/day (9a-1p) position but can very easily move into a full-time benefitted position.
