Job Description Job Title: Phlebotomist I Location: Bellevue, WA 98004 Duration: 03 Month Contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) Shift: Monday through Friday, 8 am-5 pm Pay Rate: $22.90– 28.30/hour (W2) (Based on experience and education) Position Summary The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company, providing exceptional service to patients visiting for routine health screenings or critical diagnostic testing. This role is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens and preparing them for laboratory testing while adhering to established procedures and safety standards. The PSR builds trust and confidence with patients by clearly explaining procedures and performing collections in a safe, accurate, and compassionate manner, while maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information. Key Responsibilities • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor., • Collect blood specimens (including paediatric and geriatric patients) following established procedures., • Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing., • Maintain accurate records and required documentation., • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards., • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment., • Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, and the public., • Remain flexible to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts based on staffing needs. Required Qualifications Education • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required), • Medical Assistant or Paramedic training (Preferred), • Phlebotomy Certification (Preferred; Required in CA, NV, and WA) Experience • Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (Required), • 1+ year phlebotomy experience (Preferred), • Customer service experience in retail or service environment (Preferred), • Keyboard/data entry experience (Required) Skills & Competencies • Strong phlebotomy skills including paediatric and geriatric collections, • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, • Excellent communication and customer service skills, • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism Additional Job Requirements • Must list home city and commute time on resume (must live within 20–25 minutes of job site)., • Pay rate is based on verified years of direct phlebotomy experience listed on resume (overlapping roles will not be counted twice)., • Must have reliable personal transportation (bus, Uber, or rideshare does not qualify)., • Must be punctual, available as scheduled, and able to complete full shifts., • Excessive absenteeism or tardiness will result in termination.
