Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description The Warehouse Worker supports daily operations by receiving, sorting, and preparing packages and orders for shipment. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains a clean and safe work area, and assists with loading and unloading trucks. The position involves operating basic warehouse equipment, working closely with team members, and contributing to an efficient and organized warehouse environment. Responsibilities • Receive, sort, and scan incoming packages accurately and in a timely manner., • Prepare outgoing orders for delivery drivers, including picking, packing, and labeling items correctly., • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, following all handling and safety guidelines., • Maintain accurate inventory counts and promptly report any discrepancies or damaged goods., • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with established safety standards., • Operate pallet jacks, carts, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment after receiving proper training., • Perform general labor and material handling tasks to support daily warehouse operations., • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including staging, checking, and organizing shipments., • Support team members and supervisors with daily operational tasks and special projects as needed., • Follow production and order-picking schedules to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Essential Skills, • Experience with inventory handling and basic warehouse operations., • Ability to perform order picking, packing, and packaging tasks accurately., • Capability to use RF scanners for picking, scanning, and tracking inventory (training can be provided)., • Skills in material handling, including loading and unloading shipments., • General labor experience in a warehouse, production, or similar environment., • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in a safe manner., • Comfort working on your feet for extended periods during the shift., • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate orders and inventory records., • Effective time management skills to meet daily and shift-based productivity goals., • Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude., • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and workflows (preferred but not required)., • Experience with shipping and receiving processes is an advantage., • Familiarity with production or manufacturing environments is helpful., • Comfort using pallet jacks, carts, and other non-complex warehouse equipment., • Ability to communicate clearly with team members and follow written and verbal instructions.Why Work Here? The facility emphasizes organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards, creating a structured and orderly environment focused on efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory control. Clothing should be practical and suitable for physical work in a warehouse, with appropriate footwear to support safety and comfort throughout the shift. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.75 - $22.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
