Responsibilities Qualifications • Possess a minimum high school diploma or GED., • A vocational degree in electronics/computer/networks is preferred., • Possess a minimum of 5 years of related work experience as a Testing Technician (*), • Relevant EHS, OSHA 10 hour, and LOTO training., • Prefer competency with electrical systems at all levels, experience with Utility-scale solar/PV and/or Commercial scale renewable EPC projects, independent engineering and nuances of design, and analysis of operational project data and performance is a plus., • Positive and supportive attitude, showing customer focus and the ability to work with and support both office and field teams., • Basic understanding of discipline specific technical designs, engineering principles, business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements., • Has experience with Solmetric, Omicron, Doble, Megger and other test set manufacturers equipment. The Role As an Integration Technician you will support Mega Class satellite integration across the full vehicle lifecycle, from primary structure and harness routing through propulsion system proof and leak testing, cleanroom payload integration, and end-of-line functional testing. The ideal candidate is a versatile, hands-on technician comfortable working across mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Perform hands-on assembly of the primary and secondary structure, including sheet metal panels, machined parts, and mechanisms, • Route, install, secure, and inspect avionics and power harnesses on integrated vehicles, • Install electro-mechanical components including mechanisms, avionics, power, and propulsion hardware, • Support propulsion system integration and high-pressure operations following released procedures and safety protocols, • Collaborate closely with manufacturing, test, quality, and design engineering to resolve hardware issues in real time, • Follow detailed work instructions and manufacturing procedures, performing all work in the MES system (scanning, material consumption, and built traceability), • Support cleanroom final integration activities including payload integration, functional testing, troubleshooting, vehicle handling, and shipping preparations, • Practice 5S principles of organizing and sustaining an efficient and presentable workspace, • Provide consistent process improvement feedback to engineering and production leadership, • 5+ years of experience assembling, integrating, and testing flight hardware in the aerospace industry, • Proficiency with computers and ability to use MS Office and shop floor management software, • Familiar with calibrated tools including multi-meters, calipers, torque wrenches, load cells, safety cable guns, and crimpers, • Demonstrated high level of ownership and problem-solving abilities, • Ability to read mechanical and engineering drawings and interpret tolerances (including GD&T), • Experience working with engineering teams in development and production environments, • Experience operating forklifts, cranes, and heavy equipment, • Experience working with electromechanical systems and familiarity with electrical schematics, • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate hardware and systems problems, and provide feedback on improving tooling processes and part design, • Airframe & Powerplant License, • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks such as bending or twisting, grasping, standing, lifting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, carrying, and use hands to operate tools or machine controls, • Must be able to lift and carry parts or equipment up to 50 lbs. unassisted, • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, • Hourly pay range for this non-exempt role is $35 - $45 + equity in the company, • Compensation will be based on several factors including, but not limited to: knowledge and skills, education, and experience level If you need a reasonable accommodation as part of your application for employment or interviews with us, please let us know.
