JOB FUNCTION The Human Resources Director plays a key leadership role as a strategic partner in managing and enhancing the organization's HR functions, ensuring alignment with our mission-driven culture and strategic objectives. This position oversees HR operations including talent acquisition, labor & employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, and training and development for a staff of approximately 165 employees. This is a highly collaborative role that works with all departments in the organization. The Human Resources Director partners with leadership to foster an inclusive workplace in a professional manner led with respect and fairness. COMPENSATION/BENEFITS Starting salary for this role is $140,000 - $155,000 based on years and depth of experience. PROGRAM BACKGROUND: To meet the needs of New York City’s ever-changing foster care population, Enhanced Family Foster Care (EFFC) combines and replaces the previous separately contracted Family Foster Care (FFC) and Treatment Family Foster Care (TFFC) programs. EFFC recognizes that all children in care have experienced some level of trauma, that their needs may change over time, and that their strengths must be supported so they can reach their full potential. POSITION SUMMARY: A Caseworker works with children and youth who reside in a foster home. The foster parents can either be relatives or individuals who are not related to the children. Caseworkers work as a team with Socio-Therapists to provide supports to the children, the foster parents, and the birth families to ensure that every child is making progress towards permanency. The SWF program will serve a total of 65 families residing in Brooklyn. Summary Description Reporting to the Assistant Director of Occupancy, the chief responsibility of the Occupancy Specialist is to help maintain a high occupancy rate at buildings owned and/or managed by WSFSSH and conduct all duties in compliance with Low Income Housing Tax Credit guidelines, subsidy guidelines, and equal housing opportunity laws.
