Summary/Objective: The IT support analyst will be accountable for troubleshooting incidents regarding to information technology to our BPOs and our USA stores, furthermore, will be able to provide on-site support to hardware and software to solve any issues, and remote support to no-tech savvy users guiding them to solve their technical problems. II. Responsibilities: * Handle tier 1 and tier 2 IT support escalations through tickets * Follow up on outstanding requests from our stores in USA and from our BPOs in Nicaragua and Colombia and ensure timely solution * Proactively resolving issues in a helpdesk environment (create, document, follow up and solve tickets) * Create accounts and configure hardware * Provide local on-site support to solve matters related to software and hardware * Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records III. Education/Experience: * Technologist or bachelor’s degree or last semesters of engineering on computer system, telecommunications, electronics or related. * 2 to 4 years’ experience with at least two consecutive years with the same company. IV. Job DescriptionDescription: IT Support Specialist Wavepoint 3PL, a growing, energetic logistics company, is looking for a full-time IT Support Specialist. This is a permanent, on-site position based in Erie County. Key Responsibilities • Provide technical support for end users via email, telephone, remote connection, and in-person., • Monitor systems for performance and integrity and proactively address issues., • Provision and deploy hardware as needed to support operations and administration, both onsite and remotely., • Install, configure, and update software on servers and PCs., • Utilize the helpdesk system to manage client support requests., • Diagnose and isolate hardware/software problems and coordinate solution response., • Coordinate with service and solutions providers to resolve system issues and alter services as directed., • 3+ years of professional IT experience., • Experience administering and supporting:, • Active Directory, • Windows Server, • Windows Professional, • Office / Microsoft 365, • Network wiring, • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, wireless, switching, routing, firewalls). SonicWall experience preferred., • Able to problem-solve with minimal assistance or supervision., • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment., • Effective communication with both technical and non-technical team members., • Travel as needed to remote sites, both locally and out of the area., • Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time., • Extended periods of typing and computer use, • Lifting: 0-20lbs.
