Job Description Position Overview: The Children’s Villages uses Functional Family-Child Welfare (FFT-CW) as a treatment modality within its General Preventive Programs. Overnight shift - 24-hour Emergency The Pre – College program gives students and staff a 24-hour Emergency Phone Number to report incidents such as medical and mental health emergencies, severe conduct violations, unforeseen and/or troubling circumstances, building maintenance emergencies and other similar escalations. Pro-Staff working overnight shift must always have Emergency Phone and are required to: • Answer the Emergency Phone during the length of shift, including overnight phone calls while on shift., • Respond to calls in a timely manner and follow The School’s Escalation Protocols that match the incident being called in., • Call Full-Time On-Call for guidance and escalation, when appropriate., • If required, travel with students/staff to hospital and/or police station and give Emergency Phone to Back Up On-Call. Job Description GO Tutor Corps Teacher Residency Location: Various Locations: New York, NY | Bridgeport, CT | Washington, DC Stipend: $22,000 (prorated pending start date) | Timeline: August 2026 until June 2027 At the GO Tutor Corps, we believe great teachers are homegrown. That's why we've created the GO Residency—a pathway to the classroom for aspiring educators committed to transforming outcomes for students. The GO Residency is a school-based teaching apprenticeship, spanning 1 to 2 years, designed to support individuals pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) and teaching certification. Residents are placed at one of our partner schools where they gain immersive, hands-on experience through our gradual release in a real classroom under the guidance of a seasoned Mentor Teacher. The Residency blends graduate coursework with daily practice, coaching, and mentorship. After acceptance into the program, Residents apply to and enroll in a MAT program through one of our graduate school partners. Residents can pursue their MAT in a range of focus areas, including Elementary Education, K–12 Special Education, English Language Arts, Science, Math, and History. Tuition ranges from $11,000 to $25,000 per year, depending on the graduate school program. Throughout the Residency, participants also receive targeted coaching, professional development, and leadership training from the GO Tutor Corps team. Our Techs are responsible for all the pre-exam elements of the patient visit. This includes gathering and documenting patient information and history and conducting routine and ancillary patient testing. You’ll play a vital role in the patients experience with OCLI and in helping our Dr’s to diagnose and treat eye disorders.
