WHAT YOU’LL DO As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving SageNet’s growth by generating high-quality leads, cultivating strong client relationships, and securing new business opportunities. This is a hunter-focused role responsible exclusively for new logo acquisition within an assigned national territory. Your efforts will help position SageNet as a trusted and valued service provider in the market. Major duties and responsibilities: • Drive net new revenue by proactively identifying, prospecting, and closing new accounts; this role does not manage existing customer accounts., • Develops new business by analyzing account potential, both current customer and new prospects; initiating, developing, and closing sales., • Engage and sell to IT leaders and executive decision makers, including CIOs and senior technology stakeholders, across target vertical markets., • Identifies potential in accounts by studying current business; interviewing key customer personnel and company personnel who have worked with customer; identifying and evaluating additional needs; analyzing opportunities., • Initiates sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments., • Engage with SageNet strategic partners to develop new leads and opportunities., • Partner with the Demand Generation team to convert qualified leads while independently building and managing a strong self-sourced pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and industry engagement., • Re-engage prior customer relationships and leverage an existing network of industry contacts and book of business to accelerate revenue growth., • Acting as the client’s representative in a firm to ensure that their demands are met with a focus on improving the customer experience, • Collecting and analyzing data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs, • Contributes information to sales strategies by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled; monitoring competitive products; analyzing and relaying customer reactions., • Maintain accurate and timely opportunity, pipeline, and activity documentation within Salesforce to ensure forecast visibility and pipeline integrity., • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. To perform this role successfully, the Account Executive must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, education, and overall experience required for the role. Experience & Education • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a concentration in business administration, engineering or technology, • Experience selling managed services, network, connectivity, or technology solutions required; MSP or telecommunications experience strongly preferred., • Demonstrated success in a hunter-style sales role with a consistent track record of exceeding new business quotas, • 1-3+ years sales experience exceeding quotas, • Stable employment history, • Salesforce experience is a plus, • Experience selling firewall, SD-WAN, or network services solutions preferred, particularly with OEM partners such as Cradlepoint, Digi, Fortinet, Meraki, or Cisco, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Able to explain basic technical topics in simple terms, and think quickly and react to client questions, • Self-motivated personality, with the ability to handle multiple tasks with limited direction, • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), • Must be adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated and work well on their own or as a member of a team Enjoy the flexibility of our hybrid work model. Location: Preference for candidates located near a SageNet office, with East Coast locations preferred; strong candidates across the United States will be considered. Territory: National territory covering the United States.
