Project Manager (DOB Expediter) Responsibilities: · Complete DOB filings in DOB NOW system and other applications with other city agencies to obtain approvals for Alterations, ALT-CO, New Building filings. · Track, coordinate and manage multiple active Alt-CO, New Building, Alteration projects and review for approvals and disapprovals. · Close out open applications, coordinate the dismissal of violations, file PAA - Post Approval Amendments · Schedule and prepare for Plan Examiner Appointments with DOB · Review DOB filings to complete all the necessary forms to obtain sign off – Letter of Completion, withdrawals, PAA – Post Approval Amendments, waivers and reinstatements. · Provide clients with weekly reports and status updates of each filing · Create, communicate and execute filing/approval strategies with clients and co-workers. Experience Requirements: · Preferably CLASS 2 – Code & Zoning Representative License; minimum CLASS 1 – Filing Representative. · Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. · Knowledge of DOB BIS, DOB NOW Build, DOB Inspections, and other NYC Department of Buildings systems. · Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills in code and zoning matters. · Strong technical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. · Two to four years of expediting experience Education & Qualifications: · Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred). · Two to four years of expediting experience. · Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Outlook, and other relevant software. · Exceptional time management and prioritization skills. · Outstanding customer service and professionalism. Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team, ensuring that we deliver impeccable service and pristine accommodations. This is a full-time on-site role for a Housekeeping Manager at Hudson Yards Hotel in New York, NY. The Housekeeping Manager will oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations, including supervising staff, managing laundry services, ensuring high levels of customer service, communicating with team members, and participating in the hiring process. The role requires a hands-on leader with excellent organizational and leadership skills, capable of managing a team while implementing operational processes to ensure efficiency. The Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage the housekeeping team, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and service standards are consistently met. - Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure timely and efficient cleaning of guest rooms and public spaces. - Conduct inspections to ensure all rooms and areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation. - Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste. - Collaborate with the front office and maintenance teams to address any room or public area issues promptly. - Train and develop housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations. - Monitor team performance and provide feedback and coaching as necessary to maintain a high level of productivity. - Prepare and manage the housekeeping department budget, optimizing resources and controlling costs. - Assist in planning and executing deep cleaning projects and any special cleaning needs. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry standards. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or resort environment. - Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team. - Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness. - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments. - Proficiency in housekeeping software and property management systems (PMS) is preferred. - Legal work authorization in the United States. Must work Monday - Friday 2PM - 6PM Essential Job Functions - Provide overall supervision to our scholars during the after school hours - Carry out the daily schedule with activities that include arts and crafts, homework help, reading, sports & fitness, etc. - Implement the CPNYC curriculum, helping school age children improve literacy competencies, values, and physical fitness in an activity-based environment - Assist with planning and creating innovative age-appropriate activities - Develop lesson plans to conduct them daily; read, tell stories, lead songs and games - Help maintain enrollment and daily attendance records - Assist children with homework and guide students in their academic growth - To conduct field trips or attend events, individuals will use public transportation or traverse city streets, occasionally ascend/descend stairs and exposed to outside weather conditions - An employee is expected to stand 50% of during the shift - Ability to work with youth and the general public. - Other duties as assigned Required Knowledge, Skill and Experience - At least one year of child care experience in an after school setting - Bilingual in Spanish - Minimum of an Associate’s degree or college credits, with relevant experience - Bachelor’s degree preferred; areas of study; General Education (K-8), Special Education, Social Work, Teaching, Professional Child Care, Psychology, or related fields - Energetic and enthusiastic in working with youth COMPENSATION: Commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.
