Job DescriptionOverview Interventional Radiology Tech – Travel assignment | Interventional Radiology specialty | Kansas City, KS, United States Start date: 09/27/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | Weekly pay: $2,821-$3,101 per week | Shift: 10-hour days, typically Monday–Friday with a rotating day off (4x10 schedule) | Work setting: radiology department in a hospital-adjacent, high-volume environment This travel opportunity involves working in a fast-paced IR imaging service located in the Kansas City area, with procedures spanning vascular and neurovascular work. The role requires flexibility to float to an additional IR unit as needed. Key Highlights • Weekly pay: $2,821-$3,101 per week, • Contract duration: 13 weeks, • Shift: 10-hour days, Monday–Friday with rotating day off (4x10 schedule), • Location: Kansas City, KS, • Start date: 09/27/2026, • Travel assignment in a high-volume IR setting with multi-room operation Responsibilities • Assist with interventional radiology procedures, including sterile preparation and scrubbing for cases, • Operate and assist with Siemens imaging systems during interventions, • Monitor patients during procedures and support safe use of contrast media and other agents, • Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety practices per department policy, • Prepare, position, and transport patients as needed; document procedures and outcomes, • Communicate with the IR team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient case turnover, • May support spillover or light neurovascular cases and may float to the Cambridge IR unit as needed Requirements • ARRT Radiography license (in hand), • Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (can apply after offer; licensure may be pending at start), • AHA BLS certification, • IR experience: minimum 2 years with scrub experience required; 3 years IR experience preferred (large hospital experience; peripheral and neurovascular preferred), • Ability to work in a fast-paced IR environment, • May float to the Cambridge IR unit, • New graduates not accepted, • Orientation requirements: Orientation every Monday and Tuesday; must also attend nursing orientation Wednesday–Friday (bi-weekly), • Credentials due: 1 week prior to start (Monday) Benefits and Support • 8-hour no-bill orientation, • Nicotine-free facility, • Credentialing timing and ongoing onboarding support (including KS licensure considerations), • Assignment-specific scheduling and policy details (holidays not required; holiday pay adjustments if applicable), • Accountability and support through a designated account manager during the assignment Find more opportunities If you’d like to explore additional openings from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply PAY DISCLAIMER Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
