Job Description OEI (O'BRIEN Engineering & Architecture) is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in design of OEI, a full-service Architecture and Engineering design firm, was founded 38 years ago in Dallas, TX, and serves customers nationwide. We have a robust backlog of vertical and horizontal project types and, across our teams, we serve Federal, Healthcare, Military, and Institutional clients. Key Responsibilities, Requirements, and Misc Of Note: • Building system concepts and documentation process from schematics through construction administration phases., • Experience with central plants, hydronic, steam/ VRF and energy recovery systems., • Working knowledge of building and building system codes (IBC, IECC, IMC, ASHRAE standards and NFPA standards)., • Proficient in Revit and building load and energy modeling software including SKM, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, • Design support of electrical systems and related controls., • Possess general working knowledge of different electrical systems; stay up to date on industry advancements including best-practices for applicability., • Supervise the installation of the designed systems and equipment., • Prepare cost estimates, specifications, and design analyses., • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university., • 4-8+ years of experience designing mechanical HVAC systems for commercial buildings, health care and federal projects., • PE License preferrable (or ability to obtain within six months), LEED accreditation a plus.
