As the Business Office Manager, your primary responsibilities will include: • Accurately recording cash receipts in the relevant accounts., • Maintaining crucial billing and financial data for resident business files., • Balancing resident trust accounts on a monthly basis., • Coordinating month-end closing procedures and reporting essential information to the Support Center., • Collaborating with the nursing home Administrator to perform and coordinate collection efforts., • Managing accurate records of payor sources and explaining bills to residents when necessary., • Ensuring accounts receivables are recorded correctly., • Reconciling room and board details with monthly census figures., • Upholding strict confidentiality of all information., • Effectively communicating with residents, families, center team member, and the care coordination team., • Meeting deadlines for billing and reporting with precision. To excel in this role, you will need: • A high school diploma or G.E.D., • Preferably, one to two years of experience in accounts receivable or bookkeeping within the long-term care or healthcare industry., • Proficiency in using calculators and computer software., • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with residents, families, and external agencies.
