Position Summary The Manager, Marketing is a strategic, hands-on marketing leader responsible for driving initiatives that directly impact pipeline development, client acquisition, and revenue growth. This role blends strategy with execution and is ideal for a self-starter who takes ownership, operates with urgency and agility, and has a proven track record of delivering measurable results. This is a highly execution-focused role that requires a strong bias for action, personal accountability, and a consistent focus on turning strategy into outcomes. Success in this role depends on someone comfortable operating independently, moving work forward proactively, and delivering results with minimal need for close oversight. This individual is deeply invested in the company’s growth and serves as a critical partner to both Sales and management. As a key contributor to the business, this role plays an integral part in shaping how the market perceives our brand and why clients choose our services. The Manager, Marketing will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing efforts across inbound and outbound channels, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and business priorities. They are expected to bring a strong point of view, operate with a high level of accountability, and continuously push for smarter, more effective ways to engage and convert target audiences. Key Responsibilities • Lead and execute a comprehensive, multi-channel marketing strategy across digital, content, social, and events., • Drive both inbound and outbound marketing efforts that generate a qualified pipeline and directly support revenue growth., • Own website strategy and performance, ensuring content is current, optimized, and conversion-focused., • Develop and execute high-impact content strategies that engage, educate, and convert target audiences., • Manage and optimize lead generation tools, CRM integration, campaign execution, and performance reporting., • Partner closely with Sales to align on messaging, campaigns, and pipeline acceleration strategies., • Create compelling business development materials, including pitch decks, proposals, and client-facing presentations., • Plan and execute webinars, virtual events, and in-person experiences, including pre- and post-event strategies., • Evaluate, select, and manage industry conferences to maximize brand visibility, engagement, and ROI., • Maintain and elevate brand standards, ensuring consistency and professionalism across all touchpoints., • Manage internal marketing resources and/or external vendors as business needs evolve., • Own the marketing budget, track ROI, and continuously optimize spend based on performance., • Analyze campaign performance and translate data into actionable insights and improvements., • Anticipate challenges, solve problems proactively, and operate with a high level of accountability and ownership., • Continuously introduce innovative ideas, tools, and strategies to enhance marketing effectiveness and business impact. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field., • 3+ to 5 years of lead marketing experience, preferably in professional services or consulting., • Proven experience in startup or mid-sized environments, ideally within accounting or professional services, with direct involvement in sales support and revenue-driving marketing initiatives., • Proven track record of executing with ownership and delivering measurable business results., • Demonstrated success in building an inbound pipeline and supporting outbound marketing initiatives., • Strong background in content creation, digital marketing, and campaign strategy., • Highly data-driven, with the ability to analyze performance and optimize for results., • Strong alignment to sales and revenue goals, with experience partnering closely with sales teams., • Experience managing websites, social platforms, and marketing technology tools., • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
