Job DescriptionSalary: 80k-90k Job Description: Sr. Account Executive Location:NYC (Hybrid minimum 3 days/week in-office) Department:Public Relations Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000 annually JOB SUMMARY As an SR. Account Executive, you will build on the foundational skills of an Account Executive, taking on more complex tasks and providing higher-level support to the account management team. Your role will involve media pitching, managing campaign schedules, and liaising with partners with a focus on executing tasks efficiently and effectively. JOB TASKS + RESPONSIBILITIES • Manage and grow client relationships, working cohesively with the team, • Manage day-to-day workflow across direct reports, vendors, clients and freelancers, reporting into account lead(s), • Creative mindset, constantly presenting innovative ideas for stories/partnerships/event/mailers and ultimately delivering strong results, • Help drive clients' business goals and objectives through ongoing research and monitoring within their category and against competitors, • Maintain client relationships by delivering top-notch assignments on time while managing project expectations, • Have and maintain exceptional relationships with the media, particularly in beauty, commerce, broadcast, podcast, business and trade verticals, as well as key macro influencers, • Monitor media, beauty and general lifestyle trends; ensuring the team creates new strategies and pitch angles and reports ever-changing media landscapes to clients, • Proactively continue to develop and grow media and influencer relationships through ongoing outreach and outings, • Craft relevant, creative pitches and thorough media/influencer lists to secure quality, high-impact placements and social media coverage for client brands across different industries on a regular basis, • Responsible for securing strong and consistent press and influencer coverage with significant results from strategic pitching, seeding and partnerships across the client roster, • Fulfill all media and client requests and inquiries in a timely manner, ensuring no email goes by unresponded, • Be able to "manage up" and effectively communicate issues/successes to the VP/CEO, as necessary, • Manage and mentor junior staff (AE, AAE, AC), • Execute regular reviews for direct report(s), • Assist in the development of new business proposals ADDITIONAL TASKS • Ensure all copy is free of spelling or grammatical errors., • Stay on top of deadlines and help the team keep track of overall priorities and daily tasks., • Be present for in-person status meetings or conference calls and actively participate in promoting the Agency's work., • Attend media events after hours on an occasional and as-needed basis., • Identify inefficiencies in day-to-day work and offer immediate solutions for change., • Know the hours allocated to each client and ensure they are not surpassed. Track time worked daily in our time tracking software, Forecast., • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required by client and business needs., • Must be available to support events or projects that may occur outside of regular business hours., • Physical ability to lift, move, and carry up to 25 lbs. is an essential part of the role., • Perform other research and administrative tasks as assigned. Education & Mandatory Skills • 4+ years (not inclusive of internships) of relevant beauty PR agency experience, • Bachelor's degree; degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English or Marketing is preferred but not required., • Proven track record of generating top-tier placements in national online, print, podcast and broadcast media outlets., • Highly organized, responsive and punctual., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Experience working directly with celebrity talent and their teams is a plus, but not required., • Excellent time management skills; ability to work efficiently under pressure without sacrificing quality., • Big picture thinker with problem solving skills and a drive to deliver beyond expectations for both the agency and for clients., • Writing samples and previous placements will be requested., • Proficiency with Mac systems, as well as Office software (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) Sip Into Success: Our Blended Perks & Benefits • Awesome Leadership: We're all about collaboration, creativity, and respect.
