Javits Convention Center) Location: NEW YORK, NY Job Type: Full-Time, Seasonal ABOUT THE POSITION: Brooklyn Grange, the world's leading soil-based rooftop farming business, is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Assistant Farm Manager to help manage the 1-acre Steel Farm located atop the Jacob K. Javits Center. Reporting directly to the site Farm Manager, the Assistant Farm Manager supports a range of production activities, including crew management, greenhouse propagation, bed preparation, cultivation and harvest, packing vegetable orders, compost management, pest and disease treatment, and occasional infrastructure projects. The farm is a fast-paced, public-facing environment where quality, efficiency, and attention to detail are essential.
