Reports all safety issues and/or repairs required., • Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies. Immediately reports all safety hazards., • Inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight., • Performs count check of items and check customer invoices of products that have been loaded., • Checks and completes in an accurate and in legible fashion all required paperwork associated with freight., • Moves tractor to the loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed., • Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule., • Unloads products from the trailer, transports items into designated customer storage areas., • Performs damage control checks on items, scans, and contact supervisor about removing orders according to company policy., • Verifies delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures., • Collects money (cash or checks) where required., • Loads customer returns on to trailer and secures trailer doors., • Ensures that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or always secured., • Unloads damaged goods and customer returns and bring to the driver check-in and complete necessary paperwork., • Unloads all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required., • Completes daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements., • Performs general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean as required. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork. Capital District Psychiatric Center (CDPC), an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited facility, is currently recruiting overnight Licensed Social Workers for their Crisis Intervention Unit (CIU). Overnight shift is from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am with a rotating weekend schedule. The CIU provides 24-hour crisis response to children, adolescents, and adults in the Capital Region. POSITION SUMMARY: In this role, the Overnight Care Coordinator will work at the Vera House shelter facility and handle a variety of day-to-day care and support activities for the victims of domestic violence, abuse, and sexual assault. The Overnight Care Coordinator will provide in-person and telephone crisis intervention at the request of victims or referral sources; ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment to all shelter residents and visitors. This position will manage difficult and/or emotional client situations and respond promptly to client needs, often providing emotional support for the short-term and immediate needs of shelter residents and their families. Job Description Job Title: Lab Technician Job Description • The Laboratory Technician plays a critical role in ensuring customer, team member, and vendor satisfaction by performing tests on production and finished product samples., • Achieve goals in production, safety, quality, performance, and cost., • Notify others of mechanical malfunctions to enhance productivity and equipment capabilities., • Comply with GMPs, SOPs, corporate and plant policies, rules, and regulations., • Provide assistance and support in production facilities as assigned by the supervisor., • Gain competence in line circuits and ensure proper hookups in the facility., • Cover breaks, lunches, and other staffing needs as assigned., • Comply with legal requirements concerning dairy processing and safety, reporting concerns to the supervisor., • Work safely and report safety concerns promptly, taking corrective actions as necessary., • Report food safety problems and support SQF by maintaining food safety and quality., • Ensure work areas are sanitary and adhere strictly to sanitation practices., • Communicate effectively between shifts and departments., • Conduct and evaluate product testing results to determine compliance with standards., • Release compliant products from hold using the computerized inventory management system., • Inspect and verify the sanitary condition of processing lines, fillers, tanks, and overall areas., • Validate vitamin additions and batching sheets for processing departments., • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment., • Conduct microbiological, chemical, and sensory testing as required for finished products, in-process processes, and incoming materials., • Conduct bacteria/shelf life testing of fresh and stressed samples., • Maintain laboratory logbook and Hold/Disposition Log for the shift., • Log and send out COAs as testing completes., • Complete Titratable Acidity (TA) tests using all methods., • Conduct allergen testing as required., • Perform sterile sampling of tanks and report results in a timely manner., • Complete and report product testing using tally and Product Testing Record., • Perform cryoscope testing on milk products., • Verify product labeling accuracy., • Conduct EQA testing., • Complete shelf life sensory testing and attend training annually., • Perform butterfat and solids testing using appropriate equipment., • Conduct product sterility testing on samples received., • Update log and results for Product Hold and Disposition Log and follow up as needed., • Proficiency in basic to complex mathematical concepts including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, along with knowledge of weights and measures., • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English., • Understanding of the company's mission, purpose, goals, and your role in achieving them., • Capability to operate facility equipment as required., • Completion of all company training requirements., • Minimum of a GED or High School Diploma required., • Associates degree in dairy/food sciences or equivalent is highly preferred., • The position requires working a shift from 6pm to 6:30am, with availability needed during mornings, afternoons, or overnight any day of the week., • Employees are expected to report to work well-groomed and dressed in business-appropriate attire, complying with GMP dress code standards.
