Job DescriptionJob Title: Machine Operator Shift: 6pm-6am; 12 hour shifts (2-2-3 schedule; working every other weekend) Pay: $18-$19/hr to start (pay raise when brought direct) Location: Jacksonville, FL (32216) Contract-to-hire Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Machine Operator / Manufacturing Associate to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on manufacturing experience who enjoys physical work, teamwork, and maintaining high quality standards. As a Machine Operator, you will support daily production activities by loading materials, running equipment, and assisting with quality checks. Key duties include: Bottling Line Operator: • Operate and monitor bottling line equipment, including fillers, cappers, labelers, and packaging machines, • Perform routine equipment adjustments to maintain optimal production efficiency, • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet product standards (fill levels, packaging integrity, labeling accuracy), • Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and escalate complex problems to maintenance teams, • Maintain production logs, downtime reports, and quality documentation Can Packer Operator: • Operate can packing machinery, including shrink wrappers, case packers, tray packers, and palletizers, • Monitor production lines to ensure proper packaging, alignment, and product flow, • Perform routine adjustments to machinery to maintain efficiency and reduce downtime, • Inspect finished packaged products for quality standards (pack integrity, labeling accuracy, damage-free packaging), • Recognize and address minor mechanical issues; escalate major repairs to maintenance teams, • Conduct line changeovers and ensure correct packaging materials are used Top Skills • 2+ years of manufacturing experience, • Sit-down Forklift Operating Experience, • Ability to stand for the majority of the shift and perform repetitive loading tasks, • Strong attention to detail for quality checks, • Team‑oriented, works well with others, • Reliable attendance andconsistent performance Qualifications • Ability to stand, lift light materials, and perform repetitive physical tasks, • Strong focus on quality and accuracy, • Good teamwork and communication skills, • Dependable, with excellent attendance Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
