Saint Louis provides historic charm, parks, museums, and a thriving food scene while you work a 13-week contract in the heart of 63104.\n \n\nTravel IR Tech Job Details\n\n • Location: Saint Louis, MO 63104 (St. Louis healthcare jobs, Missouri imaging technologist)\n, • Position: Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist / IR Tech (ARRT R)\n, • Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)\n, • Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 – 17:30)\n, • Hours per Week: 40 (36 hours/week guaranteed)\n, • Call Rotation: Average of 10 days/month, including weekends\n, • Scrubs: Provided\n, • Parking: Onsite, no fee\n\n\nRequired Qualifications – Interventional Radiology Technologist\n\n, • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience in hospital or academic medical center settings\n, • ARRT (R) certification required\n, • BLS certification required (AHA preferred)\n, • Experience with outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU patient populations\n, • Epic electronic health record (EHR) charting experience required\n, • Proficiency with PACS, C-Arm fluoroscopy, contrast administration, and image-guided biopsies\n, • Hands-on experience deploying pushable/detachable coils, microcatheters, guidewires, snare kits, and injector systems (ACIST preferred)\n, • Experience with stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrostomy/nephrogram, peripheral interventions, drainages, vascular and neuro studies, venous access, GU and abdomen/pelvis procedures\n, • Ability to complete OSHA respirator clearance and fit testing (must be clean-shaven for mask seal)\n, • Travelers must reside more than 70 miles from the facility (travel technologist requirement)\n\n\nKey Responsibilities – IR Tech\n\n, • Perform comprehensive interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, vascular access, biopsies, drainages, and neurovascular studies\n, • Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging equipment (GE, Siemens, C-Arm) and PACS systems\n, • Assist physicians with contrast administration, catheter and wire selection, and device deployment\n, • Document procedures and patient care accurately using Epic EHR\n, • Participate in an assigned call rotation (average 10 days/month) and respond to emergent IR cases\n, • Collaborate with nurses, radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care\n, • Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control, radiation safety, and patient safety standards\n, • Provide compassionate care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced hospital environment\n\n\nCompensation\n\n, • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2600–$2790/week\n\n\nPerks and Benefits\n\n, • Competitive travel radiology pay and guaranteed hours\n, • Provided scrubs and free onsite parking\n, • Work in a high-volume academic medical center with advanced IR caseloads\n GHR Healthcare Job ID #467938.
