Qualifications:- Significant Relativity experience including the creation of ARMs (Archive/Restore/Move). - Must be able to create and refine Relativity ARM workflows and standard operating procedures.- Must demonstrate substantial, hands-on, successful experience in actually doing the work on the systems being used, usually at least five years of such experience. - Requires broad knowledge of the Government's IT environments, including office automation networks, and PC and server-based databases and applications. - Experience in a litigation support environment is extremely helpful. - Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. - Supervisory experience is very strongly preferred. - The ability to lead a technical team, and to give it direction, will be very important, as will the demonstrated ability to analyze the attorneys' needs and to design and implement a whole system solution responsive to those needs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities of the Saw & Stretcher Operator are detailed below, but not limited to the following: Saw Operation • Read all specifications and/or notes outlined in the work order and in EPICS., • Follow verbal instructions from the press supervisor and other teammates., • Lay out, set up and operate metalworking machines such as saws, and other hand tools to cut or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products., • Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications using calipers and other measuring tools available (including and not limited to ASCONA scans)., • Troubleshoot and perform corrective action or minor repairs to the saw and stretcher., • Perform the required PM checks on the saw daily, for example daily checks on saw lubrication levels, cutting blade sharpness, etc., • Follow work order specifications and packing instructions., • Read and follow all notes in EPICS and apply them to the line on a daily basis., • Required to input information into EPICS such as weight, notes for die variances, etc. on an ongoing basis., • Verify NCRs that apply to the saw., • Update rework/redtag line in EPICS if the material is confirmed good at the saw if required. Escalate issues immediately with quality technicians & the press leads., • Ensure quality checks are conducted for visual & dimensional requirements., • Ensure any material that is out of spec is communicated to the press lead to make a prompt decision on whether it is to be scrapped or rectified., • Discuss any issues (mechanical, work-order related, etc.) with following shift, and ensure enough materials are available for a successful start-up. Stretcher Operation • Run the stretcher (live and dead ends) efficiently as possible and as required to ensure material is cleaned off the table continuously., • Ensure all extrusion pieces that are stretched are straight and twist free, and meet quality requirements (visual A or B)., • Regularly check dimensions and flatness and ensure extrusion is not over stretched., • Responsible for batching at storage table with right number of pieces per batch to avoid overcrowding., • Read and follow all notes in EPICS and update notes as required., • Immediately report any issues before, during or after stretching with press leads., • Communicate with saw crew any concerns regarding issues with dimensions and finish, such as marking bad cavities and batch marking., • Report any malfunction in stretching equipment to the press leads and the maintenance team., • Follow stretching instructions as per work order as required. Applications used include Everlaw, Relativity, Eclipse, Trial Director, NUIX, LAW, EZManage, CaseView, Metadata Assistant, Beyond Compare, eScan-IT, CaseMap, TextMap, TimeMap, Camtasia, and other applications as directed, or as required to complete processing.- Under guidance from the client attorneys, manages documents and data, including the use of document review tools. Documents and data include physical documents, a wide range of Electronically Stored Information (ESI), discovery, forensic images, subpoena returns, PDF’s, audio/video files, pictures, forms, email, and others as required to support the client attorneys. Document review tools include those listed in item - Contractor will work with the Litigation Support Manager to ensure that incoming productions are made pursuant to the applicable ESI specifications and when deficiencies are found, provides Litigation Support Manager with detailed notice of deficiencies.- Coordinate with the client’s Technology Service Center regarding litigation support projects that are outsourced to the client.- Contractor will ensure that all exports for productions are made pursuant to applicable ESI specifications and/or the requirement of the requesting party or client personnel using the guidelines utilized by the Litigation Support Unit. Work with Litigation Support Manager and client attorneys when issues may arise in discovery negotiations with defense counsel.- Contractor will work with the Litigation Support Specialist in modifying and manipulating files for use with COTS products and litigation support applications. Qualifications:- Undergraduate degree preferred-preferably in computer science or related field- Requires knowledge of litigation discovery process, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow. - Knowledge of Government’s IT environment, including office automation networks, PC and server based applications preferred. - Working knowledge of personal computers, including Windows, document review software, and encryption methods. - Experience with LAW, IPRO, Relativity or other document processing platform. - Familiarity with ICONECT, Relativity, MS Office Suite, and West LiveNote valued. - At least two years’ experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis.
