Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Senior Revenue Cycle Manager to lead and support our billing, collections, and credentialing teams across our growing organization. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who enjoys coaching others, building strong teams, and creating efficient systems that support both operational excellence and an exceptional patient experience. The Senior Revenue Cycle Manager will oversee the full revenue cycle while partnering closely with practice leaders, operations teams, and support departments to ensure consistent processes and strong financial performance. Success in this role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on leadership. We're looking for someone who can analyze performance, identify opportunities for improvement, develop team members, and help create scalable processes that support continued growth. What You'll Do: Revenue Cycle Leadership • Oversee the full revenue cycle, including eligibility verification, claims submission, payment posting, denial management, collections, and credentialing support., • Develop and maintain revenue cycle standards, workflows, and best practices across all supported locations., • Monitor key performance indicators and revenue cycle metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement., • Drive initiatives that improve reimbursement, reduce accounts receivable aging, and support sustainable growth., • Ensure revenue cycle operations remain patient-centered while achieving organizational goals. Team Leadership & Development • Lead, mentor, and develop billing specialists, AR representatives, and credentialing team members., • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement., • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities., • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and retention efforts within the revenue cycle team., • Help team members grow personally and professionally while building a high-performing department. Accounts Receivable & Denial Management • Oversee accounts receivable follow-up activities and ensure timely resolution of outstanding claims and balances., • Analyze denial trends and identify root causes., • Develop and implement corrective action plans to improve reimbursement outcomes., • Partner with payers and internal teams to resolve complex revenue cycle issues., • Monitor aging reports and implement strategies to improve overall AR performance. Practice Partnership & Operational Support • Build strong relationships with Practice Managers, Operations leaders, and clinical teams., • Support practice locations in addressing billing challenges and improving workflow efficiency., • Assist with onboarding and integration of new locations and providers., • Deliver training and guidance on revenue cycle best practices., • Serve as a trusted resource and partner to teams throughout the organization. Compliance & Credentialing Oversight • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, payer requirements, CDT coding standards, and internal policies., • Support provider credentialing and enrollment activities., • Maintain accurate provider and payer records., • Stay informed on industry and regulatory changes and help implement operational adjustments as needed. Qualifications: Required • 4+ years of dental revenue cycle management experience., • 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team management experience., • Strong understanding of dental billing, insurance verification, claims processing, coordination of benefits, collections, and reimbursement processes., • Experience managing accounts receivable and denial resolution workflows., • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop team members., • Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills., • Experience working with dental practice management software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental., • Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and dental billing compliance requirements., • Ability to analyze operational and financial performance metrics and translate insights into action. Preferred • Experience within a multi-location dental organization or DSO environment., • Familiarity with clearinghouse platforms and revenue cycle reporting tools., • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field., • Revenue cycle certification (CRCR, CHBME, or equivalent)., • Experience leading process improvement initiatives and organizational change.
