Under supervision of the Department Chairperson with broad latitude for independent judgement and initiative, the Staff Physician is an integral part of the medical team at the facility. They are expected to take a leading role in the delivery of health care services to patients in addition to being responsible for the supervision of the advanced practice practitioner staff. Responsibilities The position work collaboratively and alongside other physicians and management of all plastic surgery patients in the Department. • Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients’ goals and medical conditions., • Perform surgical procedures, including facelifts, breast augmentations, liposuction, rhinoplasty, reconstructive surgeries, hand surgery, burn care and other reconstructive procedures., • Use advanced surgical techniques and tools to achieve optimal results and minimize risks., • Provide post-operative care, including monitoring patients’ recovery, prescribing medication, and addressing any complications or concerns., • Educate patients about each procedure and risks, benefits, and potential outcomes., • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as anesthesiologists and nurses, during surgical procedures., • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of all patients interactions, treatments, and outcomes., • Adhere to ethical standards and follow all applicable laws and regulations in plastic surgery.
