The position emphasizes motor controls, conveyors, PLCs, conduit installation, and work in food processing environments, with a strong focus on safe, code-compliant installations and high-quality craftsmanship. Responsibilities • Lead and perform industrial electrical installations in dairy and agricultural facilities, including new construction projects and add-ons to existing buildings., • Install, run, and terminate electrical systems for motor controls, conveyors, and PLCs in an industrial setting., • Bend and install various types of conduit, including EMT, Ocal, and rigid, to support electrical systems and equipment., • Run PVC pipe for new construction projects to support electrical infrastructure., • Install and work with 480-volt three-phase motors, ensuring proper wiring, connections, and safe operation., • Read, interpret, and work from blueprints and electrical drawings to complete installations accurately and efficiently., • Apply a clear understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements to ensure all work meets current standards and regulations., • Use personal hand tools and small power tools to perform daily tasks, including cutting, bending, and installing conduit and wire., • Pull wire and make terminations in panels, junction boxes, and equipment in accordance with industrial electrical practices., • Work within food processing and agricultural environments, maintaining cleanliness and adhering to facility-specific requirements., • Collaborate with project teams on improvements and upgrades at farm and processing sites, ensuring minimal disruption to operations., • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in existing systems, providing reliable and safe solutions., • Maintain reliable attendance and transportation to support work at various sites throughout the Tulare, CA area. Essential Skills • Minimum of 5+ years of industrial electrical experience., • Journeyman-level electrical competency., • Extensive industrial experience with motor controls, conveyors, and PLCs., • Experience installing and running EMT conduit., • Experience running and bending Ocal and rigid conduit., • Ability to bend conduit accurately, including EMT, Ocal, and rigid., • Experience running PVC pipe for new construction projects., • Clear understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements., • Competency in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical drawings., • Experience working with 480-volt three-phase motors., • Industrial electrician or agricultural electrician., • Proficiency in pulling wire, general electrical installations, and conduit work., • Ability to perform general electrical tasks in industrial environments., • Reliable transportation to travel to multiple job sites., • Ownership and proficient use of personal hand tools and small power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience working in food processing facilities, such as dairies or similar environments., • in agricultural electrical work on farms and related facilities., • Experience working on both new construction and retrofit or add-on projects., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to code-compliant, high-quality installations., • Ability to work independently as a lead while coordinating with other trades and team members., • Comfort working in large industrial and agricultural facilities with complex electrical systems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulare, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
