Job Description Job Type: Full-time Job Description Community Services Institute (CSI) is hiring a Child Outpatient Mental Health Therapists to join our behavioral/mental health team. Our clinicians provide client-centered therapy services to adults, adolescents, and children via telehealth or in-person modalities. Clinicians must be familiar with trauma-informed treatments for families facing systemic barriers and mental/behavioral health challenges. Clinicians are required to complete paperwork in a timely manner (progress notes, assessments, treatment plans), and will be offered support as needed for the administrative aspects of community mental health. About us: CSI was one of the first outpatient community mental health clinics to offer home-based therapy to families facing barriers to mental health care. CSI’s community outreach model started after long-term psychiatric hospitals were shut down in the 60’s-70’s and replaced with outpatient mental health services. For nearly four decades CSI has remained dedicated to social justice and delivering therapy in accessible ways regardless of a person’s circumstance. CSI clinicians have the flexibility of a hybrid model seeing clients virtually, in-office, and in community settings. Who we are looking for: • Clinicians who will provide psychotherapy and consultation to children., • A caseload consisting of clients ages 5-12 years old., • Collaborate with CSI’s psychiatry and Therapeutic Mentor program., • Self-motivated fee-for-service clinician who enjoys flexibility in scheduling., • Complete assessments and develop goal-directed treatment plans., • Some evenings are required to accommodate clients’ schedules., • Masters’ Degree (60 credit minimum) in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field, • Eligible for LICSW, LMHC or LMFT, • Bilingual highly desirable (Spanish/English), • Culturally fluent, • Massachusetts CANS certification required. The Position We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapeutic Community Supervisor to join our team. Therapeutic Community Supervisors are leaders within a therapeutic milieu, creative, flexible, and excited by our “whatever it takes” approach to the work. You will work closely with our residential treatment team to provide supportive learning and leisure opportunities to our neurodiverse students. The position involves supporting students in activities of daily living, engaging individuals and groups in leisure activities and community involvement and implementing our therapeutic frameworks. At the core, it involves driving outcomes and supporting young people in developing the skills and tools they need to transition into their adult lives. This position also requires the ability to take initiative and a desire to lead and provide feedback to team members. Key Responsibilities • Supervise therapeutic community counselors in ensuring the safety and smooth 24-hour operation of the residential program., • Support students with daily stressors using therapeutic frameworks supported by Ivy Street, including CPI, PBIS, and the ARC Framework of Trauma-Informed Care, and demonstrate mastery of these treatment models., • Engage with students throughout all daily activities and lessons, and support them in accessing residential programming—make learning fun and joyful. Help build and strengthen students’ relationships with skill building and academic success., • Assist the program manager in overseeing departmental tasks and goals as well as overall facility operations., • Demonstrate strong group management skills., • Perform crisis intervention when required., • Lead off-campus school trips to enhance skills in the community., • Maintain a therapeutic residential environment by ensuring the highest standards of health and safety and implementing school-wide therapeutic frameworks., • H.S. diploma/GED required. B.A. or B.S. in Special Education, Social Work, Education, Psychology, or related field preferred., • At least one year of supervisory experience preferred., • A valid driver’s license., • CPI, CPR and First Aid certifications required (offered upon hire). Job DescriptionDescription: Position Summary The Behavior Therapist (BT) provides direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) instruction to clients of the South Shore Autism Center. BT receives company-specific training, clinical training, and client-specific training to ensure high quality interventions to each client in each clinical session. Behavior Therapists must communicate exceptionally well with other BTs and with their leaders and supervisors. BT is responsible for collecting data on each client’s skills and behaviors at every session, writing daily session notes, and contributing to projects and tasks to support the overall daily functioning of the company.
