The Coordinator works collaboratively with staff in the Division of Student Development and the Student Veteran Center to provide on-going support to enrolled student veterans and active duty military service members. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Serve as the primary contact for financial aid counseling and transition matters assisting military students, veterans and dependents as they enter St. Mary's University., • Maintains enrollment data of Veteran, active duty military, retired, DOD employees, and/or spouses, dependents who are currently enrolled at St. Mary's University. Collaborates with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness on applicable surveys., • Counsels active duty military students on tuition assistance process. Verifies and maintains tuition assistance forms for accuracy and coordinate with Business Office as necessary.
