Job Details We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Associate to join our team in Houston,Texas. As a Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for handling complex commercial real estate litigation cases, providing representation for tenants, managing commercial properties, and defending private pay insurance cases. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5+ years of experience in commercial real estate litigation and possess a strong understanding of property management and insurance defense. Responsibilities: • Represent clients in commercial real estate litigation matters, including but not limited to landlord-tenant disputes, breach of contract, and property damage claims., • Provide representation for tenants in disputes with landlords, including lease negotiations, eviction proceedings, and breach of contract claims., • Manage commercial properties, including overseeing lease agreements, rent collection, and property maintenance., • Defend private pay insurance cases, including conducting investigations, drafting pleadings, and conducting depositions., • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide legal advice to clients., • Attend court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations, and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients., • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school., • Admitted to practice law in the state where the position is located., • 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate litigation, tenant representation, commercial property management, and private pay insurance defense., • Strong understanding of property management, including lease agreements, rent collection, and property maintenance., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
