BIO-key is looking for a Sales Development Representative to outbound into qualified accounts, convert inbound leads, and set meetings that generate pipeline for our sales organization. We are looking for dedicated, curious, and motivated individuals. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills. A strong candidate is flexible with change, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and eager to begin a career in sales. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at BIO-key, you will play a vital role in driving our growth by identifying and engaging with potential clients who can benefit from our IAM solutions. You will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their unique needs, and effectively communicating how our products can solve their identity and access management challenges. Key Responsibilities: Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients, industries, and markets for IAM solutions. Utilize various methods such as cold calling, email outreach, and social media to generate high-quality sales meetings. Follow up on inbound leads by phone and email to advance prospects through BIO-key’s sales process. Client Engagement: Initiate meaningful conversations with prospective clients to understand their IAM requirements, pain points, and business objectives. Generate qualified meetings and opportunities for Account Executives. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers within client organizations. Continuously nurture leads and manage the sales pipeline to convert prospects into qualified opportunities. Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on our IAM products and industry trends. Be prepared to provide expert insights and advice to potential clients regarding the features, benefits, and value proposition of our solutions. Sales Strategy: Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategic business development plans. This includes account-based marketing strategies and targeted lead-nurturing campaigns. Reporting and Analytics: Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and sales activities using CRM, prospecting, and cadence software. Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent experience. · Proven track record of at least 1 year in a business development or sales role, preferably within the software or IT industry. · Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients. · Results-driven mindset, with a focus on meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly quotas. · Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. · Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. · Excellent time management and organizational skills. · Willingness to travel as needed (if applicable).
