Job DescriptionDescription: Hybrid every other week onsite/5 days in Merrimack, NH Our client is seeking a Data Engineer to join a collaborative team focused on providing solutions for financial professionals The role centers on analyzing and building robust ETL pipelines, leveraging AWS cloud services, and delivering high-quality data assets that enable decision-making across the organization. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in the Agile development of analytical tools. This position is essential for implementing innovative solutions using the latest technology. You will work closely with two other data analysts and four data engineers in a collaborative environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and excellence. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver data-centric insights and integration solutions with transformation logic for our customers. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $60.00 to $68.00/hr. w2 Responsibilities: Responsibilities • Analyze and interpret complex datasets to provide actionable insights for portfolio construction tools., • Collaborate with data engineers to design and develop ETL processes for data integration and transformation., • Utilize advanced data manipulation languages and frameworks, including Python and JSON, to process and analyze data., • Leverage AWS services to manage and analyze large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and security., • Develop and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures to support data analysis and reporting., • Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning and execution., • Communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders and team members. Data Analysis and ETL: • Strong experience with ETL processes and tools for data integration and transformation., • Advanced proficiency in Python and JSON for data manipulation and analysis., • Experience with AWS services for data management and analysis., • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills., • Experience in an Agile development environment., • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation for data processes. Experience Requirements: Experience Requirements • 6+ years of data analysis or hybrid analyst/engineering experience with a strong foundation in ETL technologies., • Expertise in designing and developing ETL reporting and analytics solutions., • Knowledge of data warehousing methodologies and concepts (preferred)., • Advanced proficiency with Java, Python, and JSON., • Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Snowflake and PostgreSQL., • Strong knowledge of AWS services including IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS., • Proven ability to design and develop low to moderately complex data integration solutions., • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, and Docker (preferred)., • Expert-level SQL and stored procedure development on relational databases., • Proficiency in debugging, analysis, and production support., • Demonstrable experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or SnapLogic., • Experience working with Python in an AWS environment., • Ability to interact with business partners to translate business requirements into technical requirements., • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux and shell scripting., • Experience building sophisticated CI/CD pipelines including configuration management, test automation, version control, and static code analysis., • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience working on global Agile teams., • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle ambiguity., • Ability to mentor junior engineers and demonstrate technical leadership., • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
