About the Role Your Role as Our Dining Hall Cashier Join Trinity Valley School's dining operations team as a Part-Time Dining Hall Cashier! You'll be the friendly face at our point-of-sale, managing transactions and supporting our vibrant Pre-K–12 community during lunch service. Position Details Schedule Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM (Weekends and holidays off) Pay Rate $15/hour Position Type Part-time Duration 2026–2027 school year and beyond Key Responsibilities • Operate the point-of-sale register or iPad system with accuracy and efficiency; manage account balances and reconciliation, • Track inventory levels and communicate regularly with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef regarding food product needs and stock status, • Handle food products with care, maintain proper portion control, and follow all kitchen standards and food safety protocols, • Stock and maintain adequate levels of food products at all line stations throughout service periods, • Keep your workstation, tables, shelves, equipment, and refrigeration areas clean, organized, and sanitary at all times, • Properly handle, store, and rotate food products according to established guidelines, • Complete opening and closing checklists thoroughly and on schedule, • Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned by supervisors, • Build familiarity with Trinity Valley School's diverse student body, faculty, and parent community What We Need From You (Physical and Mental Requirements) • Frequent standing throughout the shift, • Regular reaching, bending, and stooping to access supplies and equipment, • Capability to perform repetitive tasks (e.g., scanning items, restocking, wiping surfaces)., • Ability to receive direction from supervisors and respond positively to constructive feedback, • Capacity to interact respectfully and professionally with all members of the school community, • Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude, even during busy periods, • Comfort working both under supervision and independently as situations require, • Genuine commitment to supporting the school's community and shared institutional valuesWho You Are We're looking for someone who brings reliability, warmth, and dedication to every shift.
