The tech is expected to quickly view those work orders, so they are aware of their next days schedule., • The Service Tech is expected to take their vehicle home each night., • Company Vehicle is permitted for work use ONLY unless cleared by T&J Service Manager ahead of time. All vehicles are GPS monitored not only for locating, but for monitoring safe driving habits., • The Service Tech will report via phone to their manager here in Albany. The service manager is always available to assist the tech with any all questions and concerns., • The Service Technician is required to follow all company policies and procedures both internally and externally facing. Qualifications: Required Skills and Abilities: • Must have a clean driving record, • Candidates must be willing to drive up to 2 hours (one way) for service calls, • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills as your supervisor will be remote, in our main office, • Ability to work independently and with others, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Experience • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and replacing TurboChef, Merry Chef, Bunn, Mastrena, Hatco, Clover Vertica, Franke or similar equipment is preferred, • Knowledge of the Facility Services industry is preferred Education/Licensure/Certifications • High School Diploma or equivalent is required, • Refrigeration certification highly encouraged, but not mandatory Physical Requirements • Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds at times Other Requirements: • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, • Candidates must pass a drug test and background check prior to starting work Compensation and Benefits: • $35-$45 per hour based on experience, • Health Insurance offered, • Dental Insurance offered, • Employee discount program, • Opportunities for growth and development
