DOEEmployment Type: Contract/Contract-to-Hire Job Description: LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a national law firm to find an attorney fluent in Japanese (spoken, written, and read) to join its team on a long-term contract basis. The ideal candidate will bring prior in-house experience, preferably at the General Counsel level, and possess the flexibility to work across multiple practice group Responsibilities: • Collaborate with attorneys across a variety of practice areas, providing support on matters requiring Japanese language proficiency, • Review and draft legal documents and communications in both English and Japanese, • Engage directly with clients and internal stakeholders, maintaining a professional and proactive communication style, • Adapt to shifting practice group needs and provide reliable, long-term support Qualifications:, • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, • Must live and be licensed in one of the following states: TX, OR, WA, MA, SC, NC, IL, PA, MO, CA, FL, TN, NY, NJ, Washington DC, or DE, • Fluent in spoken and written Japanese (required), • Previous in-house or General Counsel experience strongly preferred, • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, • Must not engage in concurrent employmentAdditional Details:, • Hours may vary based on workload and experience level, with potential for a full 40-hour workweek, • Fully remote position with long-term stability and training opportunities for the right candidateBenefits: Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
