We aspire to establish a casual, relaxed environment for golfers and non-golfers alike. We are a fun and growing company with an urban vibe. We offer indoor golf simulation, lessons, golf fittings, events, and food and beverage service. Five Iron Golf is launching Five Iron At Home (new brand to be created later)—a standalone simulator installation and services business delivering premium, design-forward simulator builds for high-end residential, hospitality, fitness, corporate, and multifamily clients. This role is a SVP/GM-level operator with full P&L ownership who will build, launch, and scale this new business while also leading and standardizing Five Iron’s internal simulator installation engine supporting: • Five Iron corporate location builds, • Franchise location builds You’ll operate cross-functionally across Development, Construction, Ops, Technology, Marketing, Finance, and Franchise to build the installation engine and scale the new business. Reporting: This role reports to the CEO and Chief Development Officer. What You’ll Build You will build a full-service simulator installation and services platform offering: • Premium residential & commercial simulator installations, • Tiered packages, upgrades, and add-ons, • Mobile simulators (tent, trailer, etc.), • Design guidance (finishes, lighting, AV/IT, sound), • Ongoing service, maintenance, and support plans 1. Enterprise Installation Leadership (Corporate + Franchise + Brand TBD) • Own the end-to-end installation function across corporate builds, franchise builds, and external installs, • Build and lead the internal installation organization (org design, hiring, training, performance management), • Create and enforce installation standards: playbooks, QA/QC checklists, commissioning, and handoff protocols, • Set the “Five Iron standard” for build quality, tech performance, fit & finish, and customer experience, • Partner with Development, Construction, Ops, Franchise, and Technology to plan and execute openings and installs, • Build scalable capacity planning (internal teams + vetted partner bench as needed) 2. New Business Creation & Strategy (Brand TBD) • Define the business model, pricing tiers, margins, and go-to-market strategy, • Create differentiated simulator packages and add-ons aligned with the Five Iron ethos, • Establish vendor strategy across hardware, software, AV/IT, turf, screens, enclosures, and accessories, • Build a repeatable operating cadence: quoting, SOWs, timelines, warranty/service policies, escalation paths, • Launch a scalable service model (preventative maintenance, SLAs, remote support, dispatch) 3. Brand Creation & Go-To-Market (Brand TBD) — You Own This • Lead the creation of a standalone brand identity within the Five Iron ecosystem (name, positioning, visual identity, tone), • Define the product and service menu the brand will be known for (packages, finishes, “Five Iron vibe” standards), • Oversee a customer-facing website, quoting/lead intake flow, and customer comms journey, • Develop marketing collateral: pitch decks, spec sheets, renders, case studies, before/after content, • Partner with Five Iron’s marketing team while serving as the accountable owner for launch and ongoing evolution 4. Sales & Market Expansion • Build the initial sales strategy to win NYC first, then expand regionally/nationally, • Develop channel strategy (referral partners, GCs, architects/designers, building owners, hospitality/fitness groups), • Establish pipeline management, quoting standards, and sales-to-ops handoff processes 5. Project Execution & Client Experience • Own on-site project management for residential and commercial builds, • Coordinate with clients, GCs, architects, engineers, and building management, • Ensure permitting/code compliance readiness and site coordination, • Deliver a premium customer experience from first visit ? install ? handoff ? ongoing support 6. Warehouse, Logistics & Light Manufacturing (Enterprise-Wide) • Evaluate and stand up a warehouse/ops footprint (lease, layout, systems, staffing), • Run inventory, shipping/receiving, kitting, and logistics for:, • External installs (Brand TBD), • Five Iron corporate builds, • Franchise builds, • Stand up light manufacturing/assembly where it improves cost, quality, or speed (e.g., screens, turf kits, mats, enclosure components), • Implement inventory management, forecasting, purchasing discipline, and cost controls 7. Financial & P&L Ownership • Own the full P&L for the new business and installation operations performance, • Build budgets, forecasts, and unit economics (margin by package, labor model, cost-to-serve), • Optimize margins across hardware, labor, logistics, and assembly/manufacturing, • Install capacity/throughput and on-time delivery rate across Corporate/Franchise/Brand TBD, • Quality score, punch-list rate, rework rate, • Gross margin by install type and package tier, • Install cycle time (contract ? completion) and customer NPS, • Vendor performance (cost, lead times, failure rates) We’re looking for an entrepreneurial operator who wants to run a business inside Five Iron—someone who can build from zero to one, juggle many work streams at once, and partner effectively across the company.
