Job Description We are looking for a qualified IT Field Technician with the ability to install, troubleshoot and repair computers independently. As a computer technician, you must be well-versed in computer systems, servers and network functions, and be able to troubleshoot problems both on your own and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be able to work diligently and accurately, will possess great problem-solving ability in order to fix issues, and ensure functionality. The goal is to install and maintain high-quality networks, servers and computer systems for our existing clients along with new clients. Responsibilities: • Windows Server environment configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting, • Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers, • Maintain and repair technological equipment (e.g. routers) or peripheral devices, • Install well-functioning LAN/WAN and other networks and manage components (servers, IPs, etc.), • Manage security options and software in computers and networks to maintain privacy and protection from attacks, • Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated, • Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality, • Arrange maintenance sessions to discover and mend inefficiencies, • Keep records of repairs/fixes for future reference and document all technical procedures/user guides for fellow team members, • Offer timely technical support and teach users how to utilize computers correctly, • Perform work at client locations and in-house Windows Server environment configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting, • Manage all aspects of the networking platform, • Troubleshoot network & system issues, • Monitor active network and server infrastructure, • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment, • Administer network security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches, • Previous experience as a computer technician or network or systems administrator, • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills is a must, • Knowledge of TCP/IP and data protocols, • Ability to prioritize and multitask, • Deadline and detail-oriented, • Windows Server environment configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting, • Staff and project management abilities, • Thorough knowledge of and passion for computer systems and IT components, • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles, • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills, • Professional, neat appearance and reliable transportation required for visiting clients on-site, • Exceptional organizing and time-management skills, • BS/BA in Computer Science, or relevant field preferred Upload COVER LETTER with salary requirement and RESUME when you apply or you will not be considered for this position
