Job DescriptionSalary: $35-50 DOE Summary: Esposito Construction has dozens of major sitework projects underway in NJ and were looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.Must have a minimum of 3 years experience Benefits: • Medical Insurance paid by Esposito Construction for single rate., • 401(k) eligibility with company contribution., • Dental insurance eligibility., • Vision insurance eligibility., • Paid time off., • Pay: Flexible, experience based $35-50 DOE Requirements: • Ability to perform large and small repairs in either a mobile or shop setting., • Strong preventative and predictive maintenance experience., • Experienced in engine diagnostics, hydraulics, electrical, HVAC, drivetrain, brakes and suspension., • Focuses first and foremost on safety in all aspects of equipment repairs. Responsibilities: • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair dozers, loaders, excavators, and occasionally Mack trucks., • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative care to ensure equipment operates efficiently., • Identify and replace faulty hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components as needed., • Conduct engine, transmission, and brake system repairs on heavy equipment., • Perform welding and fabrication when necessary for structural repairs., • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems., • Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts used., • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of PPE., • Work independently or as part of a team to minimize downtime of equipment., • Occasionally perform field service repairs on job sites when equipment breakdowns occur. Keeps shop/truck equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. * Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
