They ensure swim lessons run smoothly, staff are supported, meals are provided and participants have a safe, positive, and engaging experience. The Program Coordinator is responsible for all registration of participants, liability waivers, swimming gear, scheduling, communication between the facility and the organization as well as participants and staff. The Program Coordinator supervises Swim Instructors, Coaches, Field Staff, Seasonal Staff, etc. The Program Coordinator helps to track data, survey completion and reporting post programs. Immediately notify appropriate personnel of evidence of substance abuse, child abuse, child neglect, severe medical or social conditions, potential suicide, or individuals appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances. Participate in appropriate in-service and workshop programs. Protect the confidentiality of records and information about staff and use discretion when sharing such information within legal confines.
