This is accomplished by performing the following functions: • Adhere to and enforce program regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure all clients receive quality services., • Develop with clients an Independent Living Plan (ILP) by identifying needs and goals and evaluate clients’ progress on short and long term goals., • Provide information, referrals, counseling, crisis intervention, direct service, and advocacy services for all clients., • Develop and maintain a resource network for referrals as related to the needs of the individuals being served in supervised programs. Janitor's Responsibilities: • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors, • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, • Clean counter tops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms, • Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas, • Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary, • Dust and clean cashier stalls, ceiling light fixtures, • Clean windows and mirrors, • Maintain janitor closets in a clean, safe and operable condition, • Follow safety rules and use safety precautions, • Complete SOW as requested and assigned by the manager per location, • Perform general cleaning tasks throughout our building, • Restock supplies in areas assigned., • maintains in attractive and clean condition areas assigned and notifies supervisor of necessary repairs of facilities and/or equipment, etc., • participates in workshops, training, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions., • Request to supervisor janitorial supplies for the purpose of ensuring adequate quantities for daily use., • Ensure that the doors are locked at night ( if applicable, ask your manager ), • Must use Time and Attendance system to report hours and payroll purposes., • Must complete IVR system if applicable or notify manager ASAP if any issues, not completing IVR to report services can affect hours paid., • Good communication and interpersonal skills, • Ability to follow oral and written instructions., • Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning products., • Good attendance and punctuality., • Ability to work independently as needed., • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
