Job DescriptionJob Overview We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Combo Technician with experience in fire alarm, security, and access control systems to support commercial and industrial projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale installations, upgrades, and service work across multiple job sites.This position is ideal for a well-rounded technician who is comfortable working in the field, traveling as needed, and interacting with customers while delivering high-quality installations and service. Key Responsibilities • Install, service, and troubleshoot fire alarm, security, and access control systems, • Perform system upgrades, device replacements, and new installations, • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams, • Conduct inspections, testing, and maintenance of low-voltage systems, • Diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently, • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable codes and safety standards, • Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and team members, • Maintain accurate documentation of work performedProject Types, • Commercial buildings, • Industrial facilities, • Warehouses and distribution centers, • Retail spaces, • Office environmentsWork OptionsProject / Traveling Technician, • Work on large installation and upgrade projects, • Travel required (typically 2–4 weeks at a time), • Per diem and travel accommodations providedCompensation ($30-$42 p/hr), • Competitive hourly pay based on experience and certifications, • Additional compensation for licensed and certified technicians, • Travel pay and per diem (for traveling roles)Preferred Qualifications, • Experience with:, • Fire alarm systems, • Access control systems, • Security / intrusion systems, • CCTV systems, • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, • Ability to work independently and on a team, • Experience in commercial or industrial environments, • Good communication and customer service skills, • Valid driver’s license and clean driving recordCertifications & Licensing (Preferred), • State-specific Fire Alarm License (where applicable), • NICET Certification (any level), • Manufacturer certifications are a plusNote: Highly experienced technicians without current licensing may be considered depending on experience and project needs.Physical Requirements, • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment (up to 50 lbs), • Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in various job site conditions
