Job DescriptionDescription: Job Summary: The restaurant server is responsible for greeting and seating guests, taking food and drink orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction in a timely and friendly manner. Servers must maintain a clean and organized work area, collaborate with kitchen and bar staff, and assist with other duties as needed. Key Responsibilities: • Greeting and Seating Guests:, • Welcome guests to the restaurant, provide menus, and offer assistance with seating., • Explain the menu, including specials and promotions, and answer questions about menu items., • Taking Orders:, • Accurately take food and drink orders from guests and relay them to kitchen or bar staff., • Make recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions., • Ensure all special requests or modifications are communicated to the kitchen., • Serving Food and Beverages:, • Deliver food and drinks to tables promptly and accurately., • Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and attend to any additional needs., • Refill drinks and bring extra condiments as needed., • Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization:, • Keep work areas, tables, and dining areas clean and organized., • Bus tables after guests finish eating and prepare them for new guests., • Handling Payments:, • Present checks to guests, process payments (cash, credit card, etc.), and provide change as necessary., • Operate the register and ensure accurate billing., • Customer Service:, • Provide exceptional service to create a positive dining experience., • Address guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner., • Ensure guest satisfaction and go above and beyond to meet their needs., • Team Collaboration:, • Work closely with kitchen, bar, and other service staff to ensure smooth operations., • Assist other team members as needed, including clearing dishes, restocking supplies, or covering shifts., • Other Duties:, • Help with opening or closing the restaurant, including cleaning and setting up for service., • Maintain knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and promotions.Requirements: Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent., • Previous experience in food service or customer service preferred., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment., • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly attitude., • Fast-paced, busy restaurant setting., • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
