Job Description Job Summary:The Mailroom / Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving, sorting, processing, and distributing mail, packages, and supplies in a client-facing environment. This role supports internal and external mail services, shipping and receiving operations, document finishing, and fulfillment activities while ensuring accuracy, security, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Receive, sort, and process incoming mail, documents, packages, and supplies, • Notify recipients and deliver/pick up mail on scheduled routes, • Record, process, and maintain logs for accountable mail, • Track, trace, and resolve mail issues with USPS, express, and local delivery services, • Prepare outbound mail and packages and coordinate pickups and deliveries, • Perform quality checks on outbound mail and validate internal mail addresses, • Perform barcode address lookup and barcode/face scanning of incoming mail and packages, • Complete shipping forms manually or electronically using shipping terminals, • Perform document finishing activities including folding, inserting, and mail preparation, • Perform electronic mail distribution including opening, scanning, and distribution, • Support fulfillment activities such as assembly, kitting, packaging, shipping, and tracking, • Follow mailroom security procedures at all times, • Perform fax logging, transmission, receipt, and distribution, • Manage shipping and receiving using automated tracking systems, • Monitor, order, and replenish mailroom and shipping supplies inventory, • Send and receive email communications related to mail and shipping activities, • Arrange alternative courier or shipping services to meet customer requirements, • Operate, clean, and maintain mailroom and shipping equipment, • Contact service providers for equipment maintenance as required, • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, • Ability to read, write, and follow English instructions, • Basic PC and internet skills, including file management and email usage, • Ability to open, create, save, rename, and delete files and folders, • Basic knowledge of email management including attachments and folders, • Basic internet navigation and web-based application usage, • Introductory knowledge of Microsoft Word or equivalent, • Introductory knowledge of Microsoft Excel or equivalent, • Strong customer service and communication skills, • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, • Ability to perform accurate data entry Education: High School Company DescriptionCompunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
