About the Role We are looking for a proactive employee to provide instruction for LAUNCH’s Pre Employment Transition services that guide and encourage learner development in specific course objectives under the ACCES-VR contract. Responsibilities include: • Planning, preparing, and delivering lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning, • Creating and developing curriculum, • Addressing the individual needs of each learner by providing differentiated instruction, • Create a learning environment that is conductive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of adult learners Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree required, concentration in Education or Special Education preferred. Experience working with individuals of various disabilities required. Experience with remote learning preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required skills include: active listening and effective speaking, time management, critical thinking, basic technology/e-mail, reading comprehension, effective written and verbal expression. Conditions of Employment Must possess a valid NYS driver’s license and transportation necessary to meet program needs.
