This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the D1 coaching process, training systems, and performance philosophy in a dynamic, high-energy environment that serves youth athletes, adults, and elite performers., • Our goal is to develop the next generation of professional coaches by providing a comprehensive learning experience that bridges the gap between academic knowledge and real-world coaching application.Responsibilities, • Assist coaches during training sessions, • Help set up and break down equipment, • Engage with athletes and members in a positive, energetic way, • Shadow lead coaches and gradually develop confidence in leading warm-ups and drills, • Attend team meetings and development sessions, • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the facilityWhat Youll Learn, • The D1 Training 5-Star Training System, • Session flow & programming breakdown, • How to coach athletes across all levels (rookie, development, prep, collegiate, adult), • Leadership & communication within group and 1-on-1 settings, • Recovery, mobility, and injury prevention protocols, • How to build relationships with athletes, families, and membersQualifications, • Currently enrolled in (or graduated from) an Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Performance, or related program, • Passionate about strength & conditioning, fitness, and athletic development, • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and receive constructive feedback, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • CPR/AED Certification (preferred but not required initially)
