Job DescriptionJob Title: Repair and Overhaul Technician Job Description Join our team as a Repair and Overhaul Technician on the 1st shift, with an opportunity to train on the same shift. You will be responsible for performing maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles, ensuring compliance with the latest technical data and FAA-approved practices. Responsibilities • Perform maintenance, repair, and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with manufacturer instructions and FAA-approved data., • Conduct preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, and final inspections on aviation articles., • Utilize assembly tools, equipment, and mechanical and visual aids as applicable., • Apply and handle sealants and adhesives with precision., • Maintain organized and clean work areas., • Participate in the FAA Drug and Alcohol Program., • Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills, • Strong mechanical and electro-mechanical aptitude., • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics., • Experience with mechanical assembly, repair, and inspection., • Knowledge of troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and service diagnosis.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Familiarity with cleanroom environments., • Experience in handling mechanical and visual aids., • Understanding of FAA regulations and Airworthiness Directives.Work Environment The position is based in a repair station, where the technician will work with a variety of assembly tools and equipment. The environment requires adherence to safety protocols and participation in the FAA Drug and Alcohol Program. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carson, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
